Yes, we’re officially now closed for the season. Maybe I’ll get a few minutes to put my feet up before it’s time to get back to work out on the farm.
Thank you to all of our customers, friends and family for a great Christmas tree season. We appreciate that you make our farm a part of your tradition and we enjoy catching up with you, seeing photos of your families & trees and all the cheer that makes this an especially good time of the year. A lot of work goes into our farm over the year, but it’s these moments that make it all worthwhile. It’s amazing to see out of our Christmas trees in just two weekends!
As many of you know, we try to keep a tight lid on how many trees we cut in any given year so that there’s always a good, healthy selection for the future seasons. This year we harvested about 350 trees in sizes from 5′ to 15′. In the near future, we’ll have plenty more trees available once all of those trees near the cabin finally take off (assuming we’ll break the the trend of back-to-back summer droughts).
We certainly couldn’t do this without all of the help & support from our family and indentured friends — thank you!
